Connect Your AI Assistant To Rhino Rank

Link Claude, ChatGPT or your coding agent to your Rhino Rank account. Paste one prompt, or add the server by hand. Either way you sign in to Rhino Rank and approve; no API key.

Paste This Into Your Assistant

Connect yourself to my Rhino Rank account. Rhino Rank has a remote MCP server at https://app.rhinorank.io/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Sign-in is OAuth in my browser; no API key is needed. If you can add MCP servers yourself, add it as a remote HTTP server named "rhinorank" and start the sign-in. If you can't, tell me the exact steps to add it in this app. Setup guide: https://app.rhinorank.io/mcp/setup. Once it is connected, show me Rhino Rank's link-building packages to check that it works.

Works best in coding tools that can add MCP servers themselves. In a chat app, the assistant tells you the steps instead.

Or add it by hand

In Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the server URL and choose Add. Leave Advanced settings empty.
  4. Choose Connect, sign in to Rhino Rank and click Approve.

Web, desktop and mobile. Free plans allow one custom connector.

Tools that can’t sign in

Perplexity, the Grok API, GitHub Copilot cloud agent and other header-only tools use a personal API key. Create one on the AI Assistants page of your Rhino Rank account and send it to the same server URL. Keys expire after 30, 90 or 365 days, or never, and you can revoke them there at any time.

In Perplexity, set Authentication to API Key, not sign-in.

This app will be able to:

  • View your orders and the package catalogue
  • Build Pay Later orders on your behalf
  • Edit, or cancel, unpaid orders
  • Apply and remove promo codes on unpaid orders
  • Start a Managed Service subscription checkout (you still pay on Stripe yourself)
  • Create press releases, save their details, submit briefs, read the draft waiting for your approval, and approve or request changes to press-release drafts, including releases you have already paid for

What it can’t do:

  • Charge your card or move money
  • See or change any other customer’s data

You can disconnect it at any time from the app you are connecting, or under Connected AI assistants on your RhinoRank My Profile page.

Troubleshooting

The sign-in page keeps redirecting
Sign in to Rhino Rank in the same browser first, then connect again.
Your assistant says your email is not verified
Until you verify, it can only look things up. Click the link in the verification email; the same connection can then place orders, without connecting again.
“Connection failed” after you click Approve
The authorisation code went stale. Remove the connector, add it again and sign in.
You want to revoke access
Sign in to Rhino Rank, open AI Assistants and click Disconnect. Or remove the connector inside your assistant.
Every assistant disconnected at once
Changing your Rhino Rank password ends every connection. Connect each one again.

Safety

It Can Order, But It Can’t Pay

It reaches only the account you sign in with, and receives only what your assistant sends to a tool, never your conversation. Disconnect any time on the AI Assistants page of your Rhino Rank account or in your assistant; changing your password ends every connection.

Your card
It never charges a card and never sees card details.
Payment
When payment is due it returns a payment link (Stripe Checkout for Managed Service) and you pay in your own browser. Orders it creates stay unpaid until you pay.
Prices
Prices and totals come from Rhino Rank’s own checkout, not from the AI.
